Exporting wrong audio

theflixx wrote on 11/5/2015, 4:20 AM

Hi

Recently everytime I've tried to export as a quicktime movie file, the audio that playsback after rendering is the wrong audio. The video is correct, but the audio is from a completely different video that I rendered a few weeks back. How is this happening?

Any help or suggestions would be great appreciated.

Thanks

Flixx

Hi

. . . . The video is correct, but the audio is from a completely different video that I rendered a few weeks back. . . . .

Are you creating a new (empty) project before adding video and audio to the timeline?

OR

Are you opening an existing project - ie the last one opened - removing everything from the timeline and then adding the new video and audio?

Also we need more information:

Which program and version are you referring to?

I'm working from a brand new project and I'm using Magix Movie Edit Pro 2015. I've just tried again and it's not only exporting audio from a previous project, but also the video length is only the same length as the previous project. Should be a 5minute video, is only showing as a 1 minute 38sec video.

Hi,

By brand new project, you mean that you created a New project when you started MEP? Or did you click on File, New project from the menu and give it a new name?

The only way that you can have the problem that you describe is if you are trying to delete objects from a previous project and didn't succeed. You have to start a New project.

Try describing in detail, step by step what you do to get a new project and then how you import an object. Try a simple one with a short video or just a photo, export it and take a look. Again, give us the step-by-step.
