Exporting projects as mp3's

Some people say that mp3 joint stereo is superior to normal stereo. What I want to know is why can't I export in normal stereo when using Audio Cleaning Lab anyway? This is important to me because when digitising an old mono Lp, like many, including a lot of sound engineers who remaster old recordings, I still record the original mono disc in stereo, ie with a stereo cartridge, through two channels. Recording from a mono source but in stereo is a safe option because you have the chance later to convert it back to mono during editing if unwanted noise levels are too intrusive. Recording with a mono cartridge to start with is fine, but there're no options re cutting down unwanted noise at a later stage other than over-filtering (ie. thereby spoiling the recorded music's sound) when editing. While exporting in joint stereo with a stereo Lp is OK, exporting in joint stereo with a mono Lp TO ME is just not as good and natural sounding as exporting in normal stereo (when I've used different software). So, again, does anyone know why I can't export an mp3 in normal stereo in Audio Cleaning Lab? The choice would be good, if any of the Magix staff are reading this!

One more thing. Why doesn't Magix ACL come in an Mac version? I like Magix software and ACL in particular and I mostly work on a Mac. However, I have to use a Windows computer as well when using Magix ACL. Any chance of a Mac version???
