. . . . export Magix Music Maker Jam project from iPhone to Windows PC . . . .
Do you mean in order to:
Continue editing the project in Music Maker Jam for PC?
Continue editing the project in Music Maker?
Import the project as a mp3 into the computer?
For 1 - connect the iPhone to the computer and browse the iPhone to locate the project file and copy this to the computer - this is not guaranteed to work if you do not have the same Styles on both!
I saw 'that post' mentioned in section 2, but it is only about Android. The Iphone interface does not have three dots next to each project. Instead there is an 'i', and when I tap on it all I can do is change the name of the project or 'continue jamming'.
I honestly can't find any way to export from the iOS version of MMJ to MMP. I have whatever version of MMJ that was available in the iOS store a few days ago.
Same here. The only “tutorials” or solutions are for Android. I have Magix Music Maker ‘19 as well as Music Maker Jam on my PC and use the app on my phone. NO way to save a usable project on iPhone currently.
I once tried to use the EXPORT option located under settings in the MMJ phone app for Android. It did not appear in either my MMJ PC app or my MM27 program. I have had to go into my phone, save them as whatever format is acceptable for import to another DAW or APP like Bandlab, and work on them there. Because I REFUSE TO PAY TWICE for the use of things that only want more money so you can use them ALSO on a computer. With today's file trace tech, there is no reason for the apparent safeguarding or just could be lazy engineers. I Have no clue. One thing is apparent, they make is so hard to get an answer, I think everyone should switch to band lab, you get cakewalk DAW with it or SPLICE, Bandlab has a phone app though that is out of this world. SO you chose but I am not certain I am going to spend another penny with magix after a few years of using them. However, I have never had any issues until recently which is why i signed up for the forum. Oh well. I give reviews on such things on my youtube channel. Then my twitter as well because many up and coming musicians look to my reviews on the latest software and hardware to make their dollar go further. MAGIX will no longer be in my Top tier after this past few months. I have taken the pleasure of screen recording this COMMENT as if it gets yanked for my opinion on the matter, which apparently I am allowed as others are allowed to assume those asking a question are infantile because they assumed they did not read the MANUAL. I once again will blast it all over youtube twitter, minds.com, band lab, bit chute now, Vimeo and platforms most have not heard of on the dark web. Because I am a loud mouth that way and believe censorship in all its forms only serves to empower the dissent
I'm Confused, and IT is probably just me, and I mean no disrespect in anyway! Confused as to When you purchase a product and are presented with reading a document, calling but finding out the company absolutely does not accept actual callers, or posting a question in the forum directed to by either the MAGIX, the magical staff finally emailing you back or stumbling across it on search engines. Is it out of line to want an answer to your question without having someone tell you to read something first? Now I understand the lesson in the saying, IF IT WERE A SNAKE, IT WOULD HAVE BIT YA/ME, however, I also understand the one about remembering to help those seeking help as you too once sought help and were given direction in order to attain a solution. That just confused me as I read this. Some individuals may not understand the direction of the manual like others, and some may just not have time to read through it. It is much easier to ask those WILLING, to answer questions in a forum than to read something while hurrying out to the store for your child's medicine, to the doctor for your flu, or through traffic to work.
I can confirm that the project export feature, which is necessary to make the project portable and bring it over to the PC, is unique to the Android version. It's simply not available in the iPhone version. The biggest reason why this was never implemented so far is probably the closed architecture of iOS. This may or may not be available on iOS in the future, but is probably not a big development priority for JAM, I'm afraid.
