@MontyRam

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

This message appears when MM cannot connect properly to your Sound Device and cannot set the sample rate to 44.1kHz

In order to help us to help you please first tell us a lot more about your computer. This post will show you what we really need to know.

Then please tell us exactly which version and variant (Free, Plus or Premium) of MM you have; you can find the precise build number under Help>About.

Then please tell us about your audio set up. What audio device are you using, one built-in to the computer (on the motherboard or an internal card) or external?

Also check your Windows Sound settings. Sometimes it will decide to default to 48kHz and you need it to be 44.1kHz.

In addition to Jeff's valuable information, you should check the project settings by pressing the A key on your pc keyboard.
If the sample rate of the project is set differently from the sample rate the sound card driver is set, this could be the problem.

Thanks for your responses. I was able to change speaker settings when a Magix pop up window appeared on screen. Thanks again and appreciate it very much.
