Hello. Please correct the error in your program MAGIX Video Deluxe 2014 Plus, MAGIX Video Deluxe 2013 Plus and MAGIX Video Pro X5 in 1080i format. The error occurs when you create a still picture in the video in slow motion. 1. Reduce the speed setting of factor = 0.5. Frame rate 12.5 frames/sec 2. In the middle of the clip, create a still frame. As a result, the stop block obtained from one frame of the clip, not at the point of creating a still frame. The program MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 18 MX Premium no such error. This operation is performed correctly. Answer 1: Formed not selected still frame as still frame is inserted into the frame of the beginning of the clip - it's a mistake. An example of a programs error:

Hi

Thanks for the video it helped a lot.

It looks like this could be bug - it is strange that it has not (AFAIK) been asked before in the forum for MEP 2013.

I will report this to Magix.

The still frame of the slow motion clip is being taken from the time position of the timeline cursor divided by the speed reduction - that is for a video as follows

Speed     0.50    Timeline cursor at 4 sec    the still image is from the frame at 8 sec.

Speed     0.25    Timeline cursor at 4 sec    the still image is from the frame at 16 sec.

Hi

Magix have confirmed that this is a bug.

As a work around do the following -

1.  Add the video clip to the timeline

2.  Move the timeline cursor to the frame where you want to freeze the movie.

3.  Select File, Export single frame as jpg and save the image.

4.  Without moving the timeline cursor, remove the remainder of the video clip ( U key)

5.  Adjust the speed of the video clip

6.  Import the saved single frame image and adjust its length as required.
