Attention! The current project was saved automatically. However, internal memory structures may be damaged that do not enable correct saving. It is recommended that the movies are saved with new names for further editing.

Only problem is I just reinstalled the software after I had to delete it do to pc memory being low. So whats going on can anyone help me?

If you want to talk to Magix direct go to this page

https://www.magix.info/us/support/

but if you want help here it helps us if you read the top sticky post on this forum and supply the information on which version of MEP you have and your machine specs.

@XICH

Welcome to the Magix forums.

In addition to what Ray @CubeAce has written, I would also draw your attention to this tutorial which shows you, step by step, how to fully uninstall any Magix product before attempting the reinstall. The symptoms you are describing strongly suggest the previous install was not successfully removed.

Yes i do . So am i supposed to just update the driver ?

CubeAce wrote on 3/4/2020, 3:32 PM

@XICH

Difficult to say without your full machine specs and Movie Edit Pro version and edition as well as operating system and version. You could have not enough physical ram to fully load the program modules or a fault in the memory at that address point or a corrupted install of MEP. It could even be another part of the system needs updating. You can certainly try updating the driver but that may not work.

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro Premium on windows 10. I had it running before with no problem so this is what I think happen . before I deleted the software from my computer I tried to move it to my D: drive then I deleted it from my c: drive . maybe I didn't properly delete it .

Hi

Did you read the topic I linked to for what information is required?

Piecemeal and incomplete information is not making it easy for us to help you with the issue you are having.

. . . . I deleted the software from my computer I tried to move it to my D: drive . . . .

You cannot 'move' a program from one drive to another, you must uninstall it completely the re-install specifying the drive and location where you want it. However parts of the program will still be installed on the OS drive (C:) - this you cannot avoid.

Hi

. . . . a error in module Essentials.ofx . . . .

I assume you mean NewBlue Essentials - this is a 3rd party add on and has been known to cause issues.

Does the error appear when trying to use a NB Essentials effect or on install?

However help us to help you by giving us your full computer specification as detailed in this topic which I liked to and mentioned in my previous 2 comments above.

@XICH

Hi

Movie Edit Pro (MEP) requires use of the Intel i7-7700 integrated graphics chip - HD Graphics 630 - for Hardware Acceleration (HWA) and Preview rendering.

It is most probable MEP is trying to use the GTX 1060 which is not supported.

The HD Graphics 630 has probably been disabled and therefore MEP cannot access it for HWA.

  1. Check that the integrated HD Graphics 630 is available to use in Windows 10 System, Display, Graphics settings as shown below

  2. If it is not there then it been disabled in the BIOS of your computer, NVidia cards do do this on installation, enable it and then go back to the Graphics Settings and set MEP to use the HD 630.

  3. In MEP set the Video mode to the HD 630

Note :

If you have a single monitor and use the GTX 1060 for gaming or other programs you may need a Headless Ghost monitor emulator to activate the graphics card which does not have a monitor plugged in, alternatively if the monitors have multiple inputs then connect and unused input it to the unused graphics card.

If you have 2 monitors, plug one in each graphics card - this is how I have mine arranged, or do as above for a single monitor.

I have no idea how to do this .

@XICH

Hi

The method you use depends on the make and model of motherboard that is in your computer.

Have you checked items 1 and 3 in my previous post?

If so and they do not show an Intel GPU present, and you feel confident accessing the BIOS then, at your own risk, do the following - if not then do you have a computer friendly computer tech person who can do this for you?

Find your motherboard make and model if you do not know it:

  1. Hold down the Windows key and press R then release both keys
  2. In the Run dialog that opens type in msinfo32.exe and press Enter
  3. In the window that opens select System summary top of the left pane if it is not already selected
  4. In the right pane look for BaseBoard Manufacturer and BaseBoard Product as shown below

  5. Note the make and model then close the window.

Search the Internet for how to get into the BIOS and how to enable the Intel GPU for the motherboard - do take care when in the BIOS.

Unfortunately, Magix Support will most definitely NOT be able to effect any change to the BIOS of your computer. If, as @johnebaker wrote, the Intel GPU is not enabled in the BIOS, only you, proceeding with the greatest care, can actually make such a change unless, as John also wrote, you have a friendly computer tech... who can do this for you.
