Hi and welcome to the user to user forums.

It is unlikely that any video editing program that was scripted for Windows 7 will now run on Windows 10 and at the present moment the newer version is not currently officially on sale at the Magix website so I'm not sure whether the program is in fact supported by Magix any more. However this is only a user forum with no Magix employees around to answer such questions.

Hi

. . . . Error -6 - this program could not be started. It is possible that the installation folder is damaged. . . . .

Before uninstalling and reinstalling, try turning off you Antivirus Real time/Folder protection/Ransomware feature(s) and try starting the program. If this works you need to add an exception in the antivirus for Video Easy

If that does not let the program start then browse to magix.com and login to your account - icon top right of home page - with the email address and password used to register Video Easy and see if there is a download and serial number available under My Products.

If there is download the installer and then run it - if offered to repair the installation do this.

If not cancel the install then download and install Revo Uninstaller free.

Run Revo Uninstaller and use it to uninstall Video Easy

After the uninstall, Revo will as you to scan for remnants left behind two times each select all the remnants left behind and delete them - note if you have any other Magix programs installed check and only select the remnants that relate to Video Easy.

Turn off the antivirus features mentioned above and then run the downloaded installer again and install Video Easy.
