When I try and activate the product it says error 14. This has been happening for 24 hours now. I bought the product on magix website

Assuming you purchased Sound Forge (SF) from Magix.. check the indicated serial number for typos and please check if you were using the serial number matching the program your purchased. i.e., a serial for SF Pro cannot be used to activated SF AS or visa-versa. The same applies to the version numbers.. (a SF-15 serial will not work for SF-14).
Are you using the email address you used prior or when SF? was purchased. Your serial code and your email address are paired..

Hi @jane-d! error cod -14 means that you have a working serial number, but you are either 1) trying to use your serial number for the wrong version of the program (like trying to use the Pro 15 serial number for Audio Studio 15, or Pro 13 for Pro 14, etc.), or 2) you are entering the correct serial number for the correct version, but your email address is not the email address registered to the program. you have to be sure to enter the correct email address...and make sure there are no typos in the address, as this is extremely common. hope this helps!
