Hi,

I am new to Music Maker 2016, and it seems that it is great tool for private soundtrack creation. I purchased instrument for concert guitar and found out that while recording tunes, my track remains empty, tune not recorded, steps I followed are:

1. Open Concert Guitar instrument in instruments section and palce it to track 1

2. Change button on track 1 to MIDI Rec

3. Push red record button and start to play

4. Track 1 starts recording but no music recorded, after stoping and replaying track

ANy advice? It happened wth oter instruments too.

Hi,

If you haven't watched it yet, watch this tutorial to make sure that you get off to a good start. 2015 is almost the same as 2016.

You have to use the on screen keyboard or an external keyboard to record. You cannot use the little keyboard to record that is at the bottom of the instrument. It is there just to try out the sounds, not for recording.
