Editing single channel sound (2 tracks) using Sterio

I am using Movie Studio 2023. I have purchased a Rode ME microphone set (2). I record each on a separate channel. Within Magix, I wish to edit each channel independently. I have explored the Equalizer and made progress. However, I would appreciate learning from someone a recommended workflow for these situations. Look forward to learning from someone.

John - thanks again. I have downloaded the clip and put your latest notes in my files. Very helpful. Yes, I have listened with headphones. A great place for me to move forward. I can't speak French, but I have been humming the tune - so something has "sunk in" 🙂. Now the practical part - to work on the recording I have.

John - this afternoon I had a short sterio clip to deal with - left and right channels. I referred to your notes - very straight forward and easy to understand. Surprised even me!
