Edit Pro x4 Export to MPEG4 -4 hours for a 5 minute song?

Have had great success exporting 10-15 minute multi-cam productions with no problem. Today I have a 5 minute song, 3-camera edit, 2 short 3-D transitions (8 seconds) , a couple Transition Templates, and it took over 4 hours to rexport as MEPG4.  Fine, BUT after the song the video continues (blank) for 2 hours. I have a total of 6 hours downloaded video in the Project Folder .. several 80 minute tapes, full length from which I "draw" the footage in the video. Could this be the reason it's taking so long? But then why the extra hours of nothingness? Render time was normal, 10 minutes or so.   Many projects I store footage directly from the video camera to an external, 2 -Terebyte HD, no problems in the past. 12 gig RAM, 500 gig internal HD with another TB internal. Windows 7. I don't like to bother you experts with elementary questions and simple "fixes" which can be found in the manual or on line tutorials. When I hit a brick wall after hours of research, forum posts and  trial/error .. I ask. Thank you Gurus.

Hi

You have blank space at the end of the movie - see my post in this thread for the fix
