Early Version Of Magix MusicMaker Needs Re-Activation

Sir/Madam:

My best regards for your continued success today!

I was able to revive and restore my flood-damaged old PC and re-discover a defunct installation of Magix Music Maker 2007 ver. 12 that needs re-activation. It had the most enjoyable vintage instruments and loops that I want to revisit.

Kindly send purchase price information for me to obtain serial number and activation, please - and not purchase of a new version.

With thanks for your consideration, till our next exchange, good weekend!

Sincerely,

H. Alcigaire.

This is a user forum, not a Magix contact forum. It seems unlikely to work with recent versions of Windows.

@Harry-A6720 My version of Magix Music Maker 2007 Deluxe doesn't need a code. It only needs the orginial DVD to activate the software.

Hi

. . . . send purchase price information for me to obtain serial number and activation. . . . Magix Music Maker 2007 Deluxe doesn't need a code. It only needs the orginial DVD to activate the software. . . .

Music Maker 12, released in 2007, is obsolete so you will not be able to purchase a serial number for activation from Magix.

Do note that the software was only certified for versions of Windows up to and including XP.

As @Graham-Hawker has commented, if you are trying to run the program on Windows eg 10 or 11 then the program will not run, or will have issues, on these versions of Windows due to significant changes in the OS since XP.

My sincere gratitude to you all for such considerate and immediate responses. However,

johnebaker's response might present the most useful proposition, as I no longer have the installation DVD and no exact recollection of the purchase price, nor store (maybe Fry's, maybe CompUSA, maybe  Radio Shack).

As for operation, this version was installed on a new Windows 7 (x86) SP1 PC and worked superbly without issues.

So johnbaker, at this point, I will even accept your CD image at a fair price, if you provide instructions, thank you.

Sincerely,

H. Alcigaire.

@Harry-A6720 I don't think that the old copy protection will work with Windows 10. I have another idea and sent you a private message. Please read it.
