DVD resolution not supported by LCD TV

Hello,

I'm burning a DVD movie but when I play it back on my DVD player I get a message on the LCD TV saying the movie resolution is not supported; I tried different resolutions under File --> Settings --> Movie settings, Video settings, including 1920x1080 (which is defined as the optimal resolution on my TV), but I keep getting the error message.

The movie was created from AVI (xvid codec) files.

Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus

TV: Samsung Series 6

Thank you.

Fabián

Hi

It is the settings you used to burn the DVD that are important. Which burn settings did you use?

This sounds like you burned a standard DVD and your DVD player does not upscale to HD, giving you the error message.
