dsp value in samplitude 2015

i am using sms 2015 and i have a dsp value in the left below screen.

i work in 115%and nothing happened,i can go until what value?

what does this mean?is it related with cpu usage?

Look up DSP display in the installed pdf manual - a full description is there - manual is under the Help menu.

You cannot change the setting and it relates to the CD writing speed..

More information on DSP

DSP is used in more than 1 context in the program.

The one at the lower left corner of the screen is the DSP performance display. It can be activated or turned off in the Program settings under Program, General. Your PC is overloaded if the displayed rate is 100% or higher. Try one of the following steps:

Reduce the number of real-time effects in the mixer or in the object editor.
Reduce the number of tracks by muting tracks that are not needed.
Increase the VIP buffer size to 16000 or 32000 samples.

Note the comments displayed in the status bar should an overload occur during real-time previewing of complex effects.

Thus if you have a DSP of 115%, your PC is overloaded and you should try to reduce it by taking one or more of the above actions.

i don´t want to record a cd,if i have dsp high values,does it nterfears with sms2015 perfomance(except with cd writing speed)?

I don't know what the overall impact would be if you exceed 100%, but you will likely have problems previewing your work. The computer can't process everything in real time to be able to smoothly play.

However, it still may be able to export correctly.

The problem is that you need to hear the final result before exporting.

i am working with four tracks melodies and a vst called blue 2 i´ve heard the final result and dsp is in 150% and computer is crashing,i´ve always thought that i only have to pay attention to cpu consumption and memory consumption,in this case they are very low,in 15%and 30%.

never heard about dsp values, is this exclusive from magix software?

even freezing it´s very limited,it´s impossible to work with this software...

i am asking for some opinions please help...
