@soybean Samplitude Pro X6 and Pro X6 Suite include Beatbox 2 as an instrument. You need to install beatbox through the Help menu (install more loops and instruments option) then restart Samplitude and add it as a new Synth Object via the Object menu.

Please help!.. I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface and I can't get any sound recording on my computer. I push record and it does everything but record the guitar or mic. Frustrating to say the least!!

@soybean Please answer the following questions:

Did you select the Focusrite Driver in the program settings? Did you connect the guitar and microphone to your Focusrite interface? Are the Focusrite interface inputs selected as track inputs?

@soybean

Hello, welcome

If you have a condensor mic, did you press the 48v phantom button and press "inst" button for connected guitar as well as increasing the gain knob.

I have plugged the Scarlett Solo in, I have my mic plugged in. I pushed the inst button...the headphones input on the Scarlett do work, I can hear the mic but it doesn't register on the Magix program! It should be as simple as I had expected...shouldn't it? I know its something simple, I just can't figure it out. Thank-you.

@soybean

Using the start menu, open Settings

Go to Privacy

Scroll down the left-hand side and select Microphone under App Permissions

Toggle on Allow apps to access your microphone

Test that this has resolved your error.

Thank You, I have it figured out! I simply had the headphones plugged into my computer, not the interface. What a run-in!! I have problems with the volume levels on the guitar, it seems too inconsistant. But I love the program!!!

@soybean You can use a compressor effect to even out volume fluctuations.
