DP won't start - Deactivate Pop-up. BUT the device is activated

I tried to start DP this afternoon and it get a pop-up that says I have to deactivate a device to register this new one. I login and THIS DEVICE IS REGISTERED. Ran fine until today this started. I can't us my software. Sent a support tickt to Magix but I expect it will take days for them to respond. If I want to call support I have to pay FOR THEIR DAMN ERROR. My first experinece with support moved from Xara to Magix. Not impressed and quite frustrated.

@onlye

Have you tried deactivating the "device" which is currently registered and then reactivating it? No guarantees, but sometimes such rather extreme measures do work. 😃

Thanks. Yes, I finally did that yesterday and it did work. I was concernd that Magix says can only be done each 30 days. Still no response from Magix support.

So Magix addressed my issue by deactivating all activations. I had to reinstall DP to get it to activate. Now the Content Catalog doesn't work right. Magix support sucks.
