You'd probably want to do the analog recording in realtime, even if it will take a while. Just for giggles: If you do have a tape deck that can speed up a playback, you could try recording at a sped-up pace and slow down the recording in Cleaning Lab later via the pitch-shifting/resampling functions. I've never tried this with a tape, but my guess would be that it probably doesn't sound too good, to say the least... At best, you'll be losing quality that you can actually maintain by recording at the correct speed, and I suppose that's what you have Cleaning Lab for: To preserve and restore your old recordings at the best quality possible.
