I'm trying to save money; I don't really want to buy a $150 MIDI keyboard. (But I will if I must.)
I'm using the Metro Midi Keyboard through my Dell multi-touch tablet. Using the UDP router given on the Metro Midi Keyboard site, I can get the keyboard to play piano through the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.
Now, I did read the Music Maker manual before coming here, so I'm aware the MS GS Wavetable Synth is not fully functional... I'm just experimenting and try to take advantage of a $250 tablet before purchasing a $150 keyboard as well.
Is there anything I can do?
I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 on a PC with 6 GB of RAM, using MAGIX Music Maker 2014. My tablet is the Dell Venue Pro 8.
