Does Magix make a program that can create annimated books opening and closing? Something similar to Adobe After Effects.

I previously used Adobe CS4 suite but can no longer afford them. I used anni books and other items on wedding videos. I don't know if Magix has a similar product? I'm also wondering about a PhotoShop-type where u can create objects to import into MEP2013 Premium? Thank u in advance for any help or comments.

dstrege08,

Movie Edit Pro has a number of 'intro' and 'outro' templates that can be added to the beginning or the end of a movie eg:

Here the hand opens the album to the opening scene which then zooms to fill the screen. I'd suggest your downloading the free demo version and trying for yourself though the full set of intro templates may only be available for separate download after you purchase and register the program.

Also check the web for additional reources. Magix has links to 'Cartooh -- http://www.catooh.com/us/

Carl, thanks for your reply. I did fail to mention that I have already purchased the MEP2013Premium software. That's why I trying to find out what it has available. I'm looking at any additional programs to enhance my videos.

I do wedding videos and had a semi-rought animated photoalblum. I'm looking for a more pro version of a book opening and closing. You mentioned some templates, but I sure can't find them. I was shown the many templates somewhere when I was reviewing the program before I had purchased. Now that I own it, can you believe I can't find them. I also thought there was a place on the website where I could download templates, etc., but no luck. I'm actually not having very much success walking through the website. The only place I seem to find is the forums area. I thought there were items to download? I did download some content pack, but don't know where it put it or if it needs to be activated. EVERYTHING seems to need activation. Its a real pain because my online activation doesn't work, so I'm constantly emailing back-n-forth with sales to send me activation codes.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to try and find where the in / out templates are.

DavidS,

'Effects' tab >> 'Design elements' >> 'Intros/Outros'. They get dropped onto a video objects on the timeline.

Sorry I can't offer more specific help to such general questions as what else...? Most any image or video clip can be included on the timeline but what additional treatment or effects might be be applied would depend on the individual case. Eg you could overlay a fancy border (maybe using black box chroma key) which then lifts like a page (page turn transition).

Carl
