Does anyone knows how to clean the noise of a video? Is there a denoiser plugin that i can use for Magix Edit Pro MX?

Hi, I took a video on a low light environment, and on some areas where its dark, there is lots of noise(grain) in the video. Its there a way to fix this? I can't find if Magix Edit Pro MX has a video denoiser, or any tool to clean a video. If it doesn't is there a plugin i can use?

Thanks

I dont know if there is an automatic function in MX(i'm using MEP 17), but you can always try fixing this with Gamma-Brightness-Contrast settings.

The only Video Denoiser that I know of that really does work is one called "NeatVideo" from AB Soft.  One version of it can run as a VirtualDub plug-in, which should mean that MEP can use it.

Unfortunately, all recent versions of the plug MEP has refused to use, saying it is incompatible!

However, you can download the free VirtualDub program, buy NeatVideo (it's not particularly cheap, just make sure you buy the version for VirtualDub) and run your footage (needs to be .avi format) through VD with the Neat plug-in inserted.  You will end up with much-improved footage, albeir at a cost of time and money!

Hi. I have tested "Magix sound cleaning lab" It works for me. It is free to try for seven days. You find it on

Good luck

It would be very cool if some day "NeatVideo" from AB Soft would work in MEP MX, but until then try searching for Virtual Dub filters/plugins, such as:
