Using Music Maker 2024 in Windows 11, it took about 5-10 minutes to complete the "Scanning VST Plugins" dialogue on a fast 2023 laptop, during this time there was a splash screen that hid half of everything behind it with no way to minimize this loading/splash screen.
I found this unnecessary and irritating - is there a way to disable the loading screen/splash screen?

Assuming you do not have hundreds of VST's, and/or you are working from an external USB drive, the scan will be slower if you do, check that the Windows 11 Settings, Text Cursor setting is turned off.
There is no way to disable the splash screen, it normally disappears in a few seconds after the VST scan

What is the laptops' specification - see this topic for what is required, and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with.

I can't remember the last time I started Music Maker 2024 so that may have been the first.
After closing it and reopening it a 2nd time, there was no such long delay.

Thanks for the feedback - after the first scan and all VST's have been 'logged' by the program, only changes are 'logged' on subsequent startup.
