Deleting Objects no longer working correctly!

I've been using Movie Edit Pro premium for many years. Normally, to delete an object (or objects), I simply highlight them and hit Delete!

However, for some reason (without making any kind of changes), pressing Delete on any highlighted object(s) not only deletes the object(s), but now it also takes everything to the right of it and shifts it to the left after deleting the object!

What happened? ... and how can I fix this? Any help would be appreciated!!

Have you checked you have the mouse mode within MEP in single object use mode?

OMG - That did it! Thank you sooooo much, you just made my day! You have no idea how surprised I was to see this behavior, and all because it wasn't in 'single mouse mode' (I've never used the other modes). THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Hi,

That's two users with more or less the same problem in 2 days. This is very basic editing that you should be aware of. How can you not have been using different mouse modes during editing?

Please watch this tutorial about basic editing and maybe the part 1 as well. You 'll save yourself a lot of time and grief if you learn the basics.
