Decompressing gopro footage

I notice that when I playback my gopro footage on my computer it's very jittery due to the level of compression that the file is currently in. When I load the videos into my edit pro plus software will it automatically decompress or do I need to run it through a video converter process first?

OT here, but a patch for VPX11 has been released that corrects the GoPro audio problem. Just tested it and it seems ok. Now if they could just correct the other problems on my bug list.

Important changes in version 17.0.1.32:

audio problems with certain GoPro videos fixed
crashes when using color correction fixed
Project folder: image and audio files can be added manually again
"Shut down PC automatically after successful export" works again

Hi John

Thanks for the heads up.

Update and added the bad audio clip and yes it did fix the audio except for some reason the clip came in at ~ 2x speed.

Cleared out the HDP and H0 files, restarted VPX and clip loads fine.
