Creating multi tracks for SF 16

Wendo-Wen wrote on 6/6/2022, 10:01 PM

I just bought and downloaded my Audio Forge 16 yesterday. All I want to do is to have two tracks. (Maybe 4 , two Left and Right) I am using it to record my singing with a music track . So far I was not able to do so. When I record my vocal 1) It erases my music track as it goes along. 2) I cannot hear(no sound) my vocal and the music track.?????? What do I need to do? I just got a new computer DELL XPS. I been watching a few youtubes about Audio Forge but no one has yet did a show of how to add different tracks.

Please help

Hi @Wendo-Wen! This is not a feature in the Sound Forge programs. Sound Forge is a wave form editor...you can record files such as podcasts, voice overs, etc, but it is not a multi-tracking software. If you need multi-tracking, you should try Samplitude or Acid...or the free Audacity program.
