Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Kurt-Bonomo.

Which compressor are you referring to?

Addendum, I can confirm this behavior with the APU wFX and the Wizard FX comps.

I’m trying to use the “wizardFX compressor”.

I posted the issue on the "SOUND FORGE Audio Studio 16 – Feedback Thread"
Hopefully it will be fixed in the upcoming update.

Same here except with the full version and on FL Studio. The Compressor causes FL to crash with ''access violation'' messages.

i get notified of an update for audio studio 16 and i click install now but that's it nothing seems to happen!

You can reinstall SFAS 16,which is basically the same as the update procedure, just download the AS-16 installer from the Magix Download Center. In this case do not use a third-party uninstaller, all your custom settings should remain. The other items in the install manger can be ignored.

Same here, and now I'm asking myself for what did I pay? This problem can't be resolved, installing SF again (already tried). Sorry but, this sucks very hard! Better invest a little bit more and buy a more reliable software -.-
I'm running into this problem since weeks now and I'll switch to another software now. Nobody cares about it seems like...

First Magix should fix the problems and then add features. It's no secret and no lie that Sound Forge has a lot of problems. But slowly Magix is fixing the problems. Other users post criticism and are not censored.

As @johnebaker wrote, criticism supported by factual evidence is fine, unsubstantiated claims or rants are not!
