I just updated my Magix Music Maker 2022 to the 30 patch update. Now when I try to set up to record the program keeps crashing. There is distortion whenever I try to play anything, beatbox, midi, soundpools, everything. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

What is the full patch version number, this can be found on the Start screen or under Help, About ?

In the Program Settings, Audio/MIDI tab, Audio buffer section increase the Multi track size and Preview size buffers up one click on the relevant spinner control.
Waht is your computer specification and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full - I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.
Are the graphics card drivers up to date?
