You chose "Rescue your videotapes" as your Magix product. Can you confirm that you are using this, and if so, exactly how you have connected your VHS player to your computer? If the connection is by means of a USB Dongle, what colour is it and do you know its model number?
Also, if you are attempting to write to your DVD writer (not player) as your VHS tape is playing, that is not how RYVT, or any similar software, works! The files must be written to your computer first (for any editing etc.) and then exported (burned ) to DVD.
So, more details about your actual set-up and exactly how you are attempting to transfer your VHS tape to DVD, please.
