Copy audio from Movie-file

How do I copy the audio from an Movie-file to use it in an other place in the timeline?

I can split Video and Audio in an Movie-file, but I can not separate the audio-file to place it in another Movi-file?

I am using Magix Movie Studio 2023 Suite.

i Have former used Vegas pro an there it was simple to split and copy audio.

Hope you can hekp me.

Try the following:

Ensure that the video and audio are on separate tracks - see example below of replacing audio on one clip with that from another
Ungroup the audio file you want to copy from the video file and ensure only the audio is selected.
While holding down the Ctrl key, drag the audio file to the new location - this will create a copy of the audio as seen below.
You can group the audio file objects back to the corresponding video clips if required.
