Connecting a Controller

Has anyone here been able to successfully connect a surface controller to Acid? I just bought a controller that is Mackie ready but I am having a hard time getting it to connect. Any help would be great!!!!

I have done it in the past with the Behringer X-touch One. I'm currently reconfiguring my PC, and haven't tried it with the latest AP10 releases.

It wasn't that hard to configure with Acid, but it did take a few steps within the preference settings. I just followed the steps in the owner's manual.
