Composing music using grand piano on-screen keyboard. How? I'm looking at the keyboard and selecting keys but nothing happens. My computer is a HP, loaded with O/S Microsoft Windows 10, 64 bit.
Did you click on the Keyboard pane to set the focus on the keyboard? Once you have done this you should see the keys moving as you play on the computer keyboard.
@colm-oscopy To hear the keyboard you need to select an ASIO driver in the Magix program settings under the Audio/MIDI tab. Then click on the red REC button in the track header of your grand piano track until reads MIDI REC. Now click on the on screen keyboard. You should then see the letters of the keys you need to press on your keyboard.
I'm still struggling to get a sound out of the keyboard. I now get a message, "The sample rate 44100Hz could not be set. Your sound card is possibly synchronized to an external source". What does this mean? How can I fix it?
