Combine two separately created MP4 files into one MP4

I've created a training video and separately recorded a telephone conversation (both using my SNAGIT program and saved to an MP4 files). I've tried to combine them but wind up having the second and first overlapping. How can I append the one after the other and save that as a new recording?

Using
   Movie Edit Pro 2016 Plus v 15.0.0.73 (UDP3),
   Windows 8.1 v 6.3.9600 build 9600
System Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 14 x64

Hi,

I'm not clear why they overlap? Simply place the two MP4s on the timeline in track 1., with no gap, and then use File > Export

Hi.  Just as an additional thought/suggestion to terrypin's answer, how about placing both MP4s on your timeline/track1,and just adding a very short transition between them?? Then go to File > Export... as you wishGood luck!

OK, I tried that and... gee, it worked! (like DUH). It's what I did the first time too. Must not have gone far enough out to 'the end' of the first recording.

Thanks
