Hi, I am using the Magic Video De Luxe MX Plus.

I start to play in editing film monts ago. At the begining I know nothing. Now I read a lot and try to find tutorials.Unfortunatelly I coudn't manage with one problem:

How could I combine two separate projects in one video project? If I try add the second project to open first project, this one only replace previous and I stay with the second project.

Is it possible to put one project in the middle of second?

I would be very grateful for the clear explanation of this problem.

BoRa

Most of the answers here are in German or French.

Your second project is not replaced with no. 1. Click the filmwheel under the monitor, you'll see both projects .

One way is to copy (Ctrl+C) one project and Glue in (Ctrl+V) into the other, in case you want to have them both on the same Timeline.

Use the Search function on the right side, or try to understand by clicking the address under:

Hi

1.  Create a new project.

2.  Select File, Manage movies, Remove from project and get rid of the empty timeline.

3.  Select File, Open project.  You will be asked if you want to close the current project - click Add new project

4.  Repeat step 3 for as many more projects you need to add.

At this stage if you want multiple movies in the same project you can save the project as is.

To get parts of one project into the other you can switch between the movies in the project by clicking the film reel icon below the preview monitor and selecting which movie you want - the timeline will change to the selected movie.

You can copy and paste from one to the other as you need.

Once you have all the parts from one movie into the other, you can remove the unwanted movie by selecting it so it appears on the timeline and then do step 2 again.

Save the project.

John

I thank you both. I just try to do it and see if I will manage with it.

Yes, I managed with it. Now it is easy!!!!

I followed the steps johnebaker but got stuck, because I still saw only one project.

Tip of the filmwheel lit up the problem.

copy (Ctrl+C) one project and Glue in (Ctrl+V) is simply.

Thanks once more.
