Combine projects in MEP 17

Former user wrote on 11/27/2011, 1:17 PM

If I try to open a second project when one is already open I am asked where I was to add the project or close the first. I wan to add (combine) the seconf project but the first always closes.

I have read other postings where it is suggested that I open the two projects in seperate windows and te copy and paste one movie into the other. I can't see how one can open a second window in order to do this.

Hi

See the instructions - 1 to 4 in particular - in my post here http://www.magix.info/uk/maintaining-project-dvd-menu-formating-mep-16-plus.knowledge.593429.html

Thanks johnebaker. The instructions you point to refers to the option to "Add New Project" when I try to import the second project. I get that  message option but when I select "Add New Project" it open the new project and closes the old one. This might be a technical problem rather then a suer problem.

Hi

Check again when you click Add New Project - MEP shows the project you just loaded - click the Film Reel button left side of the bar below the preview monitor - you will see that you have 2 movies and can switch between them, copying and pasting as you wish or having 2 or more seoerate movies in one project.

If not then something is going wrong.

Fantastic. Thanks so much. I was completely unaware that this ability existed.
