I upgraded from AS9 to AS16 recently - but when I load an audio file, usually a single voice recording, I get small "clicks" in the audio which makes it unusable. If I load the same audio into AS9 I don't get any clicks. Solutions most welcome.

I have downloaded and installed the 32 bit version of AS16 and I thought the click problem was solved, but it's still there. Everything works fine on AS9. Any more suggestions?
hi @David-Lay5409 it would be helpful to know what kind of file types you are using (such as .wav or .mp3, etc). if this is happening just with mp3 files, then the following change in your settings should fix it: click Options > Preferences > General and check the box 'Always proxy compressed formats'. give that a try and see if it's helpful.
