I am using Majix movie edit pro and the best I can get is a grey screen, it doesnt work, I have tried many different settings and camera angles and lots more, it worked with an older verson, please help
We need more information - this is a known issue, however I cannot replicate it.
What is your computer specification and which version and variant (Basic Plus or Premium) of Movie Edit Pro are you using - see this topic for the details required?
Additionally check the playback video setting is as shown below:
This is definitely a bug and has been widely reported, especially in French. There is no problem if you use an image with the green created by a graphics programs. The problem arises with a real green screen which is not perfectly green.
I am using the premium version and the playback settings are as you said, I am using a good quality green screen, this is pretty frustrating to say the least. I have tried many different solutions but none seem to work
on the chromakey window use the middle button this button is used to remove a specific color and use the eye dropper to select on the screen the green area. The first button not work in your version
Thank you, tried that, I tried a nice blue screen this morning and that worked like a champ, perhaps the green is just the wrong shade or I have too much light?
Are you selecting a large enough area to be used for the Chromakey Color effect as shown below:
The grey colour you get when selecting Chromakey Green also occurs with blue when the green/blue screen is not the 'correct colour as you can see below - using the Threshold adjustment corrects this.
I have also checked this in MEP 2016 and it looks like the Threshold hold control action has been inverted ie in 2016 you move it to the left to increase theeffct whereas in 2020 you movie to the right and the default set point is different.
