CD Architect extremely SLOW burning issues

To whom it may concern,

I'm using CD Architect version 5.2d.  In the past years this program worked great! Helping me create mix CD's with TEXT information and what have you.

The issue I've been getting is that the burning process is EXTREMELY SLOW! How slow you may ask? When the remaining time gives me a number of 500 MINUTES to complete, I'm flabbergasted! One would think that one's optical drive is failing. First troubleshooting method would be to try another CD burning software. Since I have Nero 8 installed, I loaded my music in this program and it  worked flawlessly! Tried another program like Imgburn and it worked flawlessly as well. This shows the Optical Drive is NOT failing.

I noticed there are errors in the Event Viewer whenever I use CD Architect:

Log Name:      System
Source:        cdrom
Date:          8/25/2017 2:55:58 PM
Event ID:      51
Task Category: None
Level:         Warning
Keywords:      Classic
User:          N/A
Computer:      Kumar-DesktopPC
Description:
An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom0 during a paging operation.

This entry is repeat numerous times while attempting to burning my project in CD Architect. So there is something CD Architect is doing which causing these errors...

CD Architect is one of the premier CD authoring programs I've ever came across. The ability to add CD-Text information is straight forward. The user friendliness and many features makes this program top notch.

Has anyone else notice this issue with CD Architect?

FTech
