OK I'm going on the Catooh site. I am into "templates and effects"... Need help.  All my projects will be going on a DVD for a DVD player . I will have "movie edit pro premium 2016".

For example I went to "movie templates " it doesn't tell me how long the template is ,and how many pictures it will hold?  And which one would I buy? ( what does the "approx. #GBP" mean ?) Is it the private HD 1080 one I buy?

And also ,if I want to make a wedding slideshow ,the same thing ,I go into "DVD menus" and pick "our wedding " and then I go to "intros and Outros"  and pick the "wedding Outreau" and "wedding intro " again do I buy the private HT 1080?

Hi Pat

For a quick way of creating a movie I would suggest you look at the Slideshow Maker option under Edit, Wizards, Slideshow Maker of MEP rather than the Movie Templates which are of limited run length.

The Slideshow Maker ( bad name) will take whatever is on the timeline and create a complete show, with video as well as images according to the Show Maker style you select.  this also has the advantage that you can tweak the movie after applying the style.

You can also influence the type of transitions and effects etc in the Show Maker options.

Before buying on Catooh check that the styles/templates/menus are not already installed - a lot of them are in the Plus and Premium versions.

. . . . do I buy the private HT 1080 . . . .

That depends on what you are going to do with the final movie - basically if you are going to sell or gain financially from the movies then you need the Pro version, otherwise the Private version.

As far as I can see most of the DVD menu templates are 1080 widescreen and these can be applied to DVD or Blu-Ray discs.

Great!  I just wanted to be ready to make a slide show as soon as my Software is downloaded. I already have a file with all the pics in order just waiting!  Can ya tell I'm a little anxious? Got 3 fingernails left!

Is there a"big" difference in Pro and Private?

Hi Pat

. . . . Is there a"big" difference in Pro and Private? . . .

In terms of content - none.  The differences are explained here.

Hope you have a good manicurist?

Forgot to mention - approx. #GBP" mean - GBP = Great Britain Pound ie Pounds Sterling ( £ ) .

Holy Crap! Nuf said! So......if I use all my own stuff, and free downloads, and built ins, that's ok for me to make for the public! (Friends) Gawd... I think I need a lawyer? After I see my manicurist!

Here's one for you....I thought GBP meant :the length of the template ? Us newbies are sure keeping you busy!

Thanks again
