capture card not recognised

Drew-Taylor wrote on 3/7/2022, 11:33 AM

I have just installed Video Saver and I am unable to get the program to find the provided video capture device. When I try to import via analog signal I am unable to select the continue option. I did manage to get to the next page once but no picture was being displayed in the preview window or sound coming through. I have checked that all cables are working and connected correctly. I have a 6 month old HP Laptop with I5 processor and Intel Iris Graphics on Windows 10. My version of Video Easy is 7.0.1.12

@Drew-Taylor

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Download and install the correct video driver for the USB capture device from here. If the device is marked K0065 or K0067 then use the Premium driver, restart the computer after installing.

Thanks John, but doesn't seem to have worked.

Hi

In the Windows settings, Privacy, Camera and Microphone options ensure that the option Allow desktop apps to access camera/microphone are set to on.
