Cannot record more than 4 Tracks

My Samplitude Pro x8 defaults to only 4-track recording. I have struggled to find the setting that allows recording up to 8 tracks. Once I select the 5th track, the 1st track gets deselected.

Thanks, SP. I was able to resolve the issue by simply changing the project template.
