i need to log in to my home pc, i activated the serial number on my laptop and now want to switch from one to another . its not working. error code -14. why?
Hi, and welcome to the user to user forums.
As far as I can tell this is a free download from the Microsoft app store only and seems to be a replacement for the earlier Video easy. As such I don't think many people here including myself will know much about it. I personally would not use it as it requests you open all your files to it that reside on your device. That was a bit worrying when I tried to install it on my system to see what could be happening and uninstalled it at that point and did not proceed further.
As it is free I'm surprised there are any restrictions of how many machines it could be put on to. Perhaps you need to download a new copy for each machine in use.
As there are no Magix staff on this forum you may well not get a satisfactory reply to this inquiry.

As @CubeAce says, you have chosen Movie Edit Now as your product. Is that the correct one? Or, are you asking about Movie Edit Pro, now called Magix Movie Studio?
If it is MEN then Ray is quite right, you are extremely unlikely to be given much help in this forum since very few, if any, users will have it installed.
OTOH, mention of serial numbers and error code makes me think you may actually be asking about MEP/MMS. If that code is "14" please see this page for information about it.
