I am using Magix music studio 2 and I have recorded a drum track for a song but cannot play that back while recording guitar!

I am using the ASIO sound driver but to hear any recorded tracks I have to change my settings back to the computer's standard driver - meaning I can now hear the recorded track but cannot record any sound over it! Alternatively, I will switch back to the settings where I CAN record but alas, now there is no playback :( 

So frustrating/confusing! I have tried different audio out/in combos but nothing seems to work! HEEELLLPPP! PLEASE!
