Can't record sound playing on Lenovo Thinkpad running Windows 10

I'm Running Magix Sound Forge Audio Studio 15.0 on a Lenovo Thinkpad, Windows Pro 10. I followed all the recommended steps and variations but can't record sound currently playing/streaming on my computer. I also haven't been able to find fixes specific to this setup.

The soundcard is Conexant Audio HD and these are my settings.

Playback/Output is Speaker Headphones Conexant Audio HD, drivers up to date.

Recording/Input is Internal Microphone (Note: the Stereo Mix option is not available with the Conexant card)
Levels: Microphone Array 54     Microphone Boost +12.0db
Sample Rate/Bit depth: 2 channel 24 bit 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)
Exclusive Mode:
[Checked] Allow apps to take exclusive control of this device
[Checked] Give exclusive mode applications priority

Have tried recording with every preference in SF Audio Studio:
- Microsoft Sound Mapper
- Direct Sound Surround Mapper
- Windows Classic Wave Driver
- Magix Low Latency 2016
... all without success.

I have successfully recorded with Audacity using their WASAPI setting but have problems exporting. Any help and suggestions are appreciated.

@epal Recording sound from the computer itself can be tricky and doesn't work with every device. I'm not sure if this will work with Sound Forge and your current sound card. Have you tried to select the Magix Low Latency driver and then to click on "Advanced" and "Configure" to activate all the needed inputs? Maybe some inputs will allow you to record your computer. If "Advanced" is greyed out you need to click on "Apply" first.
