I don't manage to record anything from MIDI. I don't have external keyboard but tried to use the keyboard of the MIDI equipment. I did everything like it is said in HELP. Recording starts but the result is empty. I use MMM 2015 version 21.0.4.50, and my computer runs Windows 10. I can hear the sounds when playing the keyboard. I have also seen some tutorials but that doesn't help. There must be something wrong with the settings but I don't know what.

I'm getting there but still have some questions to ask. When I use the keyboard of the program I can record something but when I use keyboard of an instrument I can't record anything? Also my keyboard looks little different (see the picture). When I open an instrument then I can see the name of the program and can change it using left and right arrow buttons. I would imagine that the up and down arrow buttons are for selecting the instrument but in my case nothing happens when I push these buttons. I must wirst open an instrument and then I can use the keyboard of the program, strange I think. When I record Analog Synths everything works OK but for example when I record Drum Engine I can't hear anything when palying with the keyboard. Also I cant hear anything when playing the created object but there is something in the object because I can see "markings" in it. Electric Piano, Vita2, Vita Sampler and Urban Drums are OK. I got the Drum Engine to work, now all I need is lots of training :)

When the default keyboard layout as shown below appears the only key that works for the drum engine is the | (vertical bar) key - the rest of the drum engine is on the inactive keys arrowed
By pressing the down arrow, circled, twice you then bring the full range of the drum engine onto the keys shown below
Occassionally I have found that if you have to press play button or the space bar to start / stop play regain focus on the timeline, otherwise you get silence.
