Hi all, I am using Samplitude X2 Pro Silver

In the past I have been able to record MIDI from my Roland Keyboard+Synth without any issue, but now for some reason it won't record MIDI input. I feel like I'm going crazy... I can't figure out why, but when I hit the record button, it doesn't record any notes.

The MIDI Editor shows green/red and clearly it is receiving input... it plays back all the MIDI input either back to my synth or in the computer based MIDI instrument. 

I can play MIDI into a VST instrument on another channel. I can record MIDI input into another program like Musescore or Cakewalk. 

I have the track armed for recording and I have the 'MIDI thru' set on, (I tried turning the Thru setting off, doesn't help)

I can't figure it out , I hit record (press R) but it just won't record any notes. It's driving me crazy.
