Can't play sounds through headphones only computer audio?

The sound doesn't work in my headphones. Does anyone know how to make Music Maker play sounds into headphones? I checked to make sure my headphones were not the problem already.

@Celine-Hansen You need to set up the audio driver. Go into the program settings and click on the Audio/MIDI tab. Then select a driver (usually ASIO - Magix Low Latency) and click on the "Advanced..."-Button to activate your headphones in the driver settings.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If @SP.'s suggestion does not work - we need more information:

  1. Is this a laptop or PC - in either case what is the Make/Model?
  2. Are you using an external audio device or the computers built in audio?
  3. Can you hear audio through the headphones if you play a video or music clip in a player?
  4. How are the headphones connected to the computer - 3.5mm jack, USB or Bluetooth?
  5. With the headphones connected are they set as the default playback device in the Windows Sound settings?

I know this is marked resolved, but this solution worked when those above did not. Headphones worked on 2021 but not on 2022 upgrade. checked 2021 audio tab and saw the primary sound driver was "Direct". Changed 2022 to "Direct" and (Drum Roll) the headphones work.
