can't install Vegas Pro15 or 16

Can someone help, my son has Vegas Pro 15 and 16 but had to reinstall them but now the install won't work, it begins to install then stops. I press continue and it stops again. They both used to work fine. The installer for the free trial of sony vegas pro18 installs fine. I don't know much about computers and my son is non verbal. Thank you

I couldn't find it anything for Vegas, which is why I posted here. I can't find anything at the top of the page, either. Never mind.
