Hi

Try looking under File, Settings - the various program settings are there.

Some settings only appear when you actually set a track to record and click the Record button or right click an object, track etc..

Thanks for the quick reply.   After reading the Manual, I did find the settings menu in "File>ProgramPreferences>SystemAudio.    I had been relying on the Help Files rather than the Manual, but these seem to a bit out of date and don't apply accurately to my version of the program (Music Studio 2015).  If I search for "input>audio settings" in the help files it says use the "Audio Settings" menu, but doesn't say where to find it.

I had managed to get it (Studio that is rather than Music Maker)  to record mono off a Roland UA-25 USB card by starting a new project and setting the first track input to UA-25.  No problem.  What I was actually trying to do was set up the UA-25 to record off two mics. in stereo which I believe it has the capability.  I get stereo in the headphone monitor jack on the UA-25, but the software records both inputs in mono on both tracks.  If the UA-25 won't do it I'm certain my M-Audio Firewire will, but haven't got as far as testing that yet.

Hi John10, since we have 3 Johns on this thread,

Congratulations! You read the manual, or at least referred to it, something which most people don't seem to do. The Help file is supposed to be a copy of the pdf manual, but in some cases, one of them may slip through the cracks and not be updated.

Which audio driver did you use? Does one come with the UA-25? I have an Asio driver that came with my M-Audio M-Track and that is the one that I use.

I am referring to Music Studio 2015 here.

If you arm only one track, and you set everything to stereo, you should get stereo, with one mic on the left and the other on the right. Right-click on the Record button and check that you have set the parameters to stereo and not mono, and that in the track editor, under in, it also says stereo.

With only one interface connected, I can't arm 2 tracks for audio in, so I can't see how you could record on to 2 separate tracks with only the UA-25.

If you can get it, then post more details and screen shots of the setup and parameters.

I would be interested in seeing what happens when you connect the M-Audio.
