Can't find Soundpools

mjh002 wrote on 11/10/2010, 11:33 AM

MM17 Premium:  Song Maker offers Rock Alternative 1 as one of 12 styles.  When I try to generate a song, it cannot find any loops.  This seems to because it is trying to look in the directory for MM15 Silver which I had as a demo and uninstalledbefore loading MM17.

Does MM17 ship with thw Rock Alt 1 style and if so how to i get the SongMaker to 'point' to the correct directory.  Alternatively, if Rock Alt 1 is not part of the 'standard' style set, how do I stop MM17 SongMaker offering this as a style which doesn't exist.

Clearly MM15 has not fully uninstalled and/or MM17 has not recognised former files.

Ant help much appreciated

Martin

 Additional information

I am sorry I did not get it

Please clear

this

is whether Rock Alertnative Vol. 3 contains 1 and 2 as well, or whether it's a separate collection. Same question also on MovieScore Vol. 8 etc.

Contain 1 and 2 what?

I gathered some information about styles from website magix (Italy)

Now I understand as usual Premium version got more style than standard one

Rock Alternative Vol.3
Techno Trance Vol. 13
Dance Electro
Chillout Vol.5
Breakbeat Vol.1

Nihon94 - thanks for a very useful answer - very clearly laid out, and it worked for me, so thank you.

The guys at Magix should take this on board as there are clearly deficiencies when upgrading.

One thing that's not clear to me (but it's only my first day with MM17) is whether Rock Alertnative Vol. 3 contains 1 and 2 as well, or whether it's a separate collection.  Same question also on MovieScore Vol. 8 etc.

Always learning
