Can't find music editor

ericmay wrote on 1/12/2011, 8:35 PM

When I try to make changes in the PROGRAM SETTINGS menu and hit OK, the following message pops up:

The indicated file does not exist.

Please correct your input

When I hit okay, the cursor jumps to the AUDIO EDITOR line under the FOLDERS tab,  indicating that the

MUSICEDITOR.EXE program cannot be found.  Any ideas where I can find this?

Thank you

A simple search of your hard drive will tell you whether the file exists or not.

Hi,

As Procyon has adviced you must search and see if you got no time then follow below please:

First of all do you need to know where Music editor is or I wonder what were you doing in Program settings?

What you were upto when cursor jumped?

Here is easy way if you want to know where and how you can find Music editor

When Music Maker is open drag and drop any audio on arranger and just click on it then

Effects/Audio/Edit audio in external editor

nnnnn

Next you can do from All Prgram click on Magix

Then click on Magix Music Editor

nnn

Or go to Program Files Magix and locate

music editor folder and double click on the exe file.

Hope this answer will help.
