Yes, but... (and that's a big butt) .. Quicktime for Windows must be installed to open .m4a and .mp4 video files in SF. The M4A file extension/wrapper uses the AAC audio codec.
QT 7.6 was always the preferred version by the expert Vegas Pro users. QT Alternate or QT lite should work as well.

Thank you rraud. I know that QuickTime for Windows is no longer supported by Apple. Good to know there are alternatives like you mentioned.

AFAIK, the only difference between QT Alt and QT Lite is, 'QT Lite' does not include Media Player Classic. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/qt_lite.htm

If you want Media Player Classic, I prefer the 64 bit Media Player Classic Home Cinema.
